ARLINGTON, Texas – The Cotton Bowl Athletic Association announced today the additions of Grace Froehlke, Taylor Morin and Juliana Ruiz to the staff as CBAA Fred McClure Interns for the 2026-27 academic year, officially joining the CBAA staff on Sept. 9.

Froehlke, Morin and Ruiz become the 10th, 11th and 12th individuals to garner the title of CBAA Fred McClure Intern. In 2021, the CBAA revived and renamed its internship program in honor of Fred McClure, the first Black person to serve as CBAA Chair and the first person to serve two terms (1998-2002) in that role.

In their roles on the CBAA staff, Froehlke assists in content creation on social media and digital platforms and various aspects of the overall communications strategy and media operations planning and execution and Morin and Ruiz serve in diverse roles working with all facets of the office and event operations, including administration, business operations, game/team operations, hospitality and various ticketing operational aspects. All three support the day-to-day operations of the CBAA office and assist with operational aspects of the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, Cotton Bowl Foundation and community service events and initiatives and the regular-season college football games played at AT&T Stadium.

Froehkle joins the CBAA staff following one year as Digital Media Assistant for Bowl Season. In that role, she oversaw a comprehensive cross-platform social media strategy during the regular season, bowl season and postseason, driving an average of 15.1 million daily views in-season. The Scottsdale, Ariz., native served as a Social Media Producer/Strategist for the 2025 and 2026 U.S. Tennis Opens, Broadcast Intern for the Arizona State University athletics department and social media roles with the United States Tennis Association and Syracuse University Annual Sports Charity Auction. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management with a minor in Emerging Sport Enterprises from the Syracuse University Falk College of Sport in 2025.

Morin comes to the CBAA staff from Wake Forest University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering in 2023 and Master of Business Administration in 2024. A four-year member of the Demon Deacons football team at wide receiver, Morin was a team captain for his junior season in 2023 and senior season in 2024. As a senior, he was named All-Atlantic Coast Conference and earned the Jim Tatum Award as the top senior student-athlete among all ACC football players. Morin was named to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society twice in 2023 and 2024 and was tabbed a Military Bowl STEM Scholar-Athlete for excellence in STEM and athletics three times in 2021, 2022 and 2023. The Centreville, Va., native spent time on the off-season roster of the Philadelphia Eagles prior to the 2025-26 season. Away from the gridiron, Morin has served in intern roles with Teall Sports & Entertainment and Cisco and as an Investor Relations Coordinator for the Soteria Battery Innovation Group.

Ruiz joins the CBAA staff from Texas A&M University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management in 2026. While in College Station, she worked for 15 months as an On-Campus Recruiting Assistant with the Aggies football program and nearly four years in various roles with Babe's Chicken Dinner House. In her role with the football program, she helped create a welcoming and professional experience for prospects and families during all home games, recruiting events and visits and assisted in planning and executing official and unofficial visits, preparing recruiting materials, coordinating logistics, and supporting game day operations in addition to managing documents and data used by the coaches and football staff. The Prosper, Texas, native was active on campus with the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, Future Aggie Nurses organization and helped coordinate the 2024 Interfraternity Pickleball Tournament.
