ARLINGTON, Texas – Monica Christopher, Chief Philanthropy Officer of The Meadows Foundation, has been elected to a two-year term as Chair of the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association (CBAA), which oversees the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, and Cotton Bowl Foundation.
Christopher becomes the 44th Chair, succeeding W. Kelvin Walker, who remains on the CBAA Executive Committee as the Immediate Past Chair. In her role as Chair, Christopher works closely with the CBAA staff to facilitate all aspects of the business affairs for the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic and Cotton Bowl Foundation during a two-year term that runs from Feb. 1, 2026 to Jan. 31, 2028. The 2027 College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the 91st Classic and 2028 CFP Semifinal at the 92nd Classic will be played at AT&T Stadium under her leadership.

Christopher serves as Chief Philanthropy Officer of The Meadows Foundation. In this role, she works closely with President and Chief Executive Officer Eric R. Meadows to help guide the strategy and direction of the Foundation's philanthropic work across Texas. Previously, Christopher served as Dallas Campus President of Texas Woman's University, where she advanced philanthropic engagement and led strategic campus growth and initiatives. Her extensive experience in philanthropy includes stops at Communities Foundation of Texas and The Dallas Morning News.
A member of the CBAA Board of Directors since 2016, Christopher earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from The Ohio State University. She and her husband Brent reside in Dallas.
Christopher becomes the second woman to be named CBAA Chair, following the late Kathy Saunders (2008-10). Christopher leads the 2026-28 slate of CBAA officers, which includes Bill Jackman stepping into the role of Chair-Elect. Jackman will work in tandem with Christopher during her tenure in preparation to assume the role of Chair for 2028-30.
Jackman is a Private Wealth Advisor and Senior Vice President - Investments at UBS. In this role, he provides strategic financial guidance and customized investment solutions to help clients achieve their long-term goals. Jackman, who joined the CBAA Board of Directors in 2014, has held key leadership positions at notable investment firms, including Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
The Nebraska native earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Nebraska and his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago. A basketball student-athlete, Jackman played one season at Duke University and three seasons for the Cornhuskers. He currently resides in Dallas.
Joining Christopher, Jackman and Walker on the CBAA Executive Committee for 2026-28 are Kyle Manley (Treasurer), Matt Kairis (Secretary) and Blake Wiley, Joseph DeWoody, Brad Ramsey and Vickie Yakunin (Vice Chairs) along with CBAA President and Chief Executive Officer
Rick Baker. This 10-person group governs the CBAA Board of Directors and Council, which comprises a diverse collection of civic and community leaders with strong North Texas ties.
