ARLINGTON, Texas – The Cotton Bowl Athletic Association announced today the additions of
Maria Go and
Iveth Enriquez Marquez to the staff as CBAA Fred McClure Interns for the 2025-26 academic year. Both officially joined the CBAA staff on Sept. 8.
Go and Enriquez Marquez become the eighth and ninth individuals to garner the title of CBAA Fred McClure Intern. In 2021, the CBAA revived and renamed its internship program in honor of Fred McClure, the first Black person to serve as CBAA Chair and the first person to serve two terms (1998-2002) in that role.
In their roles on the CBAA staff, Go serves in a diverse role working with all facets of the office and event operations, including administration, business operations, game/team operations, hospitality and various ticketing operational aspects and Enriquez Marquez assists in content creation on social media and digital platforms and various aspects of the overall communications strategy and media operations planning and execution for the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic. Go and Enriquez Marquez support the day-to-day operations of the CBAA office and assist with operational aspects of the Classic, Cotton Bowl Foundation and community service events and initiatives and the regular-season college football games played at AT&T Stadium.

Go joins the CBAA staff following a one-month stint as a 2025 training camp intern with the Indianapolis Colts and more than three years working on the football recruiting and equipment staffs at the University of Notre Dame. In her equipment staff role, the Madison, Wisc., native served as a Senior Equipment Manager with the defensive coaches during practice and games. In her role with the recruiting department, she helped prepare for recruiting visits and assisted in hospitality before and during home football games. Go has served as an intern at RotoWire in Madison. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Economics from Notre Dame in 2025.
Enriquez Marquez comes to the CBAA staff from the University of Southern California, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication in 2024 and Columbia University, where she earned her Master of Science degree in Strategic Communication in 2025. At Columbia, she worked as an athletics marketing and ticketing intern, assisting with ticket sales and allocation, event marketing and game day operations across all sports. At Southern California, she served as a student worker on the sports performance nutrition staff and was able to travel and work with the Trojans for their trip to play in the 87th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic. The Santa Fe, N.M., native has gained varied experience working in and around the sports industry with internships as a Next Gen Content Creator at Wasserman and Game Day Intern with Playfly Sports.
