ARLINGTON, Texas – The No. 10 seed Miami Hurricanes (11-2, 6-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) took to the field for the first time this week at AT&T Stadium on Monday afternoon in anticipation of the 2025 College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the 90th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic.

The Hurricanes took to the field shortly after completion of their media day session. Miami worked for just under two hours in shorts and shoulder pads as it continued preparations for a New Year's Eve matchup with No. 2 seed Ohio State (12-1, 9-0 Big Ten Conference).

"It was great to actually get work in the stadium to get used to the entire setting," said Head Coach Mario Cristobal. "Being able to catch the ball in an indoor facility, this is very different for us. The team had a tremendous amount of energy, was moving fast and preparing for the game ahead."

Ohio State is making its fifth appearance in The Classic and sports a 3-1 record, including a 28-14 win over Texas in the 89th Classic. Miami is making only its second appearance in Cotton Bowl Classic. The Canes are hoping for a similar result this time around. Miami's previous appearance resulted in a 46-3 win over Texas in the 55th Classic on January 1, 1991.

Miami will return to the practice field one final time on Tuesday before kicking off things with Ohio State on Wednesday night.

The 2025 College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the 90th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic is Wednesday, Dec. 31 at 6:30 p.m. CT on ESPN and ESPN Radio. Kickoff is slated for 6:40 p.m.

The Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic will be the first of four CFP Quarterfinals. The three other quarterfinals will be played on New Year's Day.

This year's Classic is a part of the ESPN bowl lineup for the 12th straight year. Dave Pasch and Dusty Dvoracek are set to the call the action from the booth with Quint Kessenich and Taylor McGregor reporting from the sidelines. ESPN Radio returns as the Classic's national radio partner for the 12th consecutive year with Mike Couzens and Max Starks in the booth and Morgan Uber on the sidelines to describe all the action from AT&T Stadium.
