ARLINGTON, Texas – The 26th edition of the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic Art Contest Presented by Amazon celebrated another banner year with 10,910 entries and $75,000 distributed to support art teachers and programs across North Texas.

The beloved Classic tradition, supported by Amazon for the second straight year, used the dollars from Amazon, the Cotton Bowl Foundation and College Football Playoff Foundation to distribute $500 grants to art teachers and educators in 164 schools across 25 school districts for art supplies, support art-centric programs and experiences for elementary students.

The students' submissions have been laminated to be distributed as gifts at selected events and activities during the 2025 College Football Playoff Semifinal at the 89th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic. The first, second and third-place winners per category are set to have their artwork proudly displayed at their respective schools and AT&T Stadium inside the CBAA offices throughout the year.

This year's winners and their art teachers are also scheduled to be spotlighted with an in-game recognition during the 2025 CFP Semifinal at the 89th Classic on Friday, Jan. 10 at AT&T Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. on ESPN and ESPN Radio.

"Our Art Contest is such a wonderful part of our Cotton Bowl Classic traditions," said W. Kelvin Walker, Chair, Cotton Bowl Athletic Association and Cotton Bowl Foundation. "Our Classic and the Cotton Bowl Foundation take a lot of pride in supporting education, especially at the elementary level, through the benefits of learning art and how it can help young people be more well-rounded as students and in life. We are indebted to Amazon for its support and helping us bring art, education and football together in this very special way."

The Cotton Bowl Classic Art Contest has been a treasured part of the bowl experience for more than three decades. The contest ran consecutively for 23 years before taking a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Art Contest has made a triumphant return in conjunction with 87th, 88th and 89th Classics, shattering the previous records for entries, elementary schools participating and dollars distributed.
