ARLINGTON, Sept. 20, 2019 – The Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic in partnership with Pytchblack, a Fort Worth based creative design firm, unveiled today a new Brand Tagline and graphic campaign for the upcoming season leading up to the 84
th ClassicÂ
on Dec. 28th, 2019.Â

"Like No Other"Â will serve as a primary brand position and marketing platform for all the Classic's advertising, branding and collateral moving forward.

The agency was selected in May to lead the annual campaign creation and branding strategy for the 84
th Classic, along with a review of the organization's current brand platform. The new tagline is accompanied by a pop art inspired creative campaign look for the 2019 football season.

"We approached this assignment by understanding the history and significance of this historic game the organization itself," PytchBlack Managing Partner Andrew Yanez said. "Our job wasn't to create a new identity, but to help sports fans understand the significance of the Classic within the New Year's Six and postseason system."

Fans attending this year's Cotton Bowl will see signage and artwork created by PytchBlack throughout AT&T Stadium, on printed collateral, and on media platforms.Â

PytchBlack has developed a reputation for innovation within the bowl industry and beyond. The Goodyear Cotton Bowl marks the sixth college football bowl game that PytchBlack has partnered with for the 2019 season. PytchBlack also works with ESPN Events on college basketball marketing and branding, along with recently designing the event mark for the inaugural ESPN Collegiate E-Sports Championship last May.

The Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic is entering it's fifth season as a New Year's Six bowl in the College Football Playoff Semifinal rotation. The 84
th ClassicÂ
on December 28th will include an at-large Top-10 team against the highest ranked team from the "Group of Five" conferences. The Classic will be the lead-in to the two CFP Semifinals and broadcast on ESPN.
