ARLINGTON, Texas – Former Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic stars posted solid showings in the major college football all-star games that capped the 2025 season.
In the 2026 edition of the Panini Senior Bowl in Mobile, Texas' Michael Taaffe recorded three tackles for the American team in its 17-9 victory over the National squad on January 31.
In the 101st East-West Shrine Bowl played at the Ford Center in Frisco, Southern California's Miller Moss was sharp at quarterback, completing all six of his passing attempts for the West team. His teammate, Ohio State's CJ Donaldson, rushed for 18 yards and had one reception.
On the East team, Alabama's Devonta Smith ended his East-West Shrine Bowl appearance with seven total tackles from his defensive back position. This included four solo tackles and an assist on defense, as well as a solo tackle and an assist on special teams.
A total of 27 Cotton Bowl Classic alums were on the rosters of four all-star games – Panini Senior Bowl, East-West Shrine Bowl, American Bowl and Altrua HealthShare Hula Bowl.
