ARLINGTON, Texas – Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic alumni are playing for a title with nine former standouts on the rosters of the four franchises playing in the 2025 United Football League conference championship games.
The Birmingham Stallions lead the way with six Classic alums followed by the DC Defenders, Michigan Panthers and St. Louis Battlehawks with one each.
Clemson tops the list with three Classic alums followed by Oklahoma with two and Cincinnati, Michigan State, Missouri and Penn State with one each.
The UFL conference championship games are Sunday, June 8 with the Stallions hosting the Panthers in USFL Conference title game at 2 p.m. on ABC and the Battlehawks hosting the Defenders in the XFL Conference title game at 5 p.m. on FOX. The 2025 UFL Championship game at The Dome at America's Center in St. Louis is Saturday, June 14 at 7 p.m. on ABC.
