BRISTOL, Conn. – ESPN has entered into a theatrical distribution agreement with 
Theater Sports Network to televise the 88th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, set for Friday, Dec. 29 at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN and ESPN Radio, as well as the other New Year's Six Bowl games, 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship Presented by AT&T and Atlantic Coast Conference college football games during the 2023-24 college football season.
This year's Classic returns to primetime for the first time since Oklahoma defeated Florida 55-20 in the 85th edition on Dec. 30, 2020.
The 88th Classic marks the sixth time in seven years the game has been played in December – 82nd (Southern California vs. Ohio State on Dec. 29, 2017), 83rd (Notre Dame vs. Clemson on Dec. 29, 2018), 84th (Memphis vs. Penn State on Dec. 28, 2019), 85th (Oklahoma vs. Florida on Dec. 30, 2020) and 86th (Cincinnati vs. Alabama on Dec. 31, 2021).
