ARLINGTON, Texas – The game date and time for the 88th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic have been set as Friday, Dec. 29 at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN and ESPN Radio.
The Classic returns to primetime for the first time since Oklahoma defeated Florida 55-20 in the 85th edition on Dec. 30, 2020.
The 88th Classic marks the sixth time in seven years the game has been played in December – 82nd (Southern California vs. Ohio State on Dec. 29, 2017), 83rd (Notre Dame vs. Clemson on Dec. 29, 2018), 84th (Memphis vs. Penn State on Dec. 28, 2019), 85th (Oklahoma vs. Florida on Dec. 30, 2020) and 86th (Cincinnati vs. Alabama on Dec. 31, 2021).
