Will Estel joined the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association staff as Director of Stadium & Football Operations in May 2022.
In his role, Estel serves in a lead role managing all team and stadium operations for the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic as well as all in-season college football games held at AT&T Stadium. He oversees the merchandising and signage programs surrounding those games as well as assists with the digital marketing strategies and content generation around the Classic and CBAA-related activities and events. The 2025 College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the 90th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic is set to be his 17th Classic to work and fourth as a member of the CBAA staff.
Estel worked 13 Cotton Bowl Classics as a member of the bowl week operations staff and a total of 45 college football games at Cotton Bowl Stadium and AT&T Stadium, including three College Football Playoff Semifinals and the 2015 CFP National Championship, prior to joining the staff in a full-time role. His Classic ties also include a stint serving as manager of the Kilgore College Rangerettes.
Estel and his wife Sydne, who serves on the Cotton Bowl Classic pageantry staff, reside in Frisco with their daughters Poppy and Wyatt and dogs Presley and Baker.
