WELCOME TO THE 2008 AT&T COTTON BOWL CLASSIC

Chairman
Bruce Gadd
Chairman, Cotton Bowl
Athletic Association

Few athletic events in America have more history and tradition than the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic. There’s nothing quite like the excitement that surrounds Cotton Bowl Stadium on New Year’s Day, and we are honored you have chosen to make the Classic part of your holiday season.

A new chapter in our storied history as one of America’s original bowl games was added this past February when our Board voted to move the Classic in 2010 to the new Dallas Cowboys stadium currently under construction. And while that move will help secure the Classic’s future, Fair Park has been a wonderful home for 72 remarkable years as the Cotton Bowl Stadium has served as host to some of the greatest moments in college football history.

There’s no question that our game would not be what it is today or what it can be tomorrow without the unwavering support of our title sponsor, AT&T Inc. Our partnership began in the fall of 1996 and is recognized as one of the longest-standing title sponsorships among all the bowls. This marks our 12th game with AT&T Inc. We are deeply grateful for the strong commitment of Chairman/CEO Randall Stephenson and his dedicated employees at AT&T.

Any discussions of partnerships would be incomplete without acknowledging the Big 12 and Southeastern Conferences. Collectively, the 24 universities represent the best in college academics and athletics. There is no doubt that the fans here in the Lone Star State and millions more around the world watching on FOX Sports will be treated to a memorable matchup.

To help you plan your journey to Dallas, we hope that you will refer to this Fan’s Guide often. You will find factual information about the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic along with hotel, stadium and transportation tips. The intent is to answer virtually every question surrounding our game and city.

We look forward to making your stay in Dallas as fun and memorable as possible. Thank you for your support of the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic, and best wishes for a happy and healthy 2008.

Enjoy the game!
